Prospective candidates will possess the knowledge, experience, and expertise in a subject or activity including, but not limited to Accounting, Alaska Native Studies, Applied Art, Applied Business, Psychology, Social Work, Rural Development, Early Childhood Education, Library Science, Mathematics, Developmental Studies, Science, Tribal Management.
Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching within the University of Alaska.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Candidates will be evaluated on the suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high-quality instruction to undergraduate students.
Prospective candidates will possess knowledge, experience, and expertise in a subject matter or activity that could be shared with interested students by developing and/or teaching in a specific subject area preferred, but at a minimum, demonstrated experience and expertise in the subject is required Preferred Experience & Education:
Demonstrated experience and expertise in the subject area is required.
Required Experience & Education:
Academic Disciplines:
Bachelors degree or higher with teaching experience in the appropriate area.
Vocational Disciplines:
Bachelor degree or field related experience sufficient to perform teaching assignment required w/demonstrated experience and expertise in the subject required.
Masters in the subject area preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
